Riding your bike with your child just got safer. Wee ride has developed a child seat which is positioned infront of you rather than behind. This new way of riding with your child is much safer, as you are more balanced and stable, which gives you peace of mind. It's more fun for your child as they can see everything, interact with you, and really feel what it's like to be on a bike. Much better than staring at your back! Also, like cars, the motion of the bike can send your child off to sleep, so the clever clogs at Weeride has designed a headrest for your child to drift off into slumberland.

Remember that your and child should wear all the appropriate safety gear when using this seat.

I have owned a Weeride for 18 months. My son is 30 months. Used weekly taken off road on hilly but easy trails. You have to adapt your riding style slightly (knees wrap round the seat) but because the additional weight is on the cross bar there is no affect on the steering. My son loves the fact that he is in charge and can tell me which direction to go. I love it because I can see him and know what is going on. The head rest is more like a mud guard and helps the child so they have something to hold onto. We all wear bike helmets and I find that the rest is not ideal for a child with a helmet on to fall asleep on. I have therefore adapted the rest by taping an inflatable airline headrest pillow to the rest. My only problem I am having now is my son has just gone into size 8 shoes and it is a tight fit to get his feet into the foot supports. I have used this seat on a rigid, front suspension and full suspension mountainbike. With chunky headsets the bar still fits.
